Why you need to create everything twice

Everything is created twice. First it is created in you, with a feeling. It is then created in form – where we can see and feel and experience it.

Everyone reading this is either in a place of creating a business, thinking about creating a business, or striving to create more in their business. When we are creating anything we plan, visualize or pray for what we want to create (you use what word works for you). Everything starts with a thought.

KellyRobbins_PrayerI recently learned a new principle and love it so much because it resonated so true for me.

You don’t pray for something, you pray ‘from’ something.

You don’t visualize and feel what you want, you visualize and feel what you already have. It’s then waiting to express itself in physical form.

The principle states everything is created twice; first in you and then in form.

Now, here’s the thing about spiritual principles. It doesn’t matter if you agree with them or not, they works regardless.

Let’s look at a different principle, such as math and see if this helps explain things more clearly. You can learn a little math, no math, or focus intently on mastering math. The more math you know the more you can use your knowledge to serve you. Math could care less if you use it or not, 2 + 2 is going to equal 4 regardless of your choices. You can even say 2 + 2 = 22 and believe you are right. The principle is not hurt or changed by your mistake. Your misuse of the principles of math simply means your checkbook won’t balance.

It’s up to us to decide to learn and use the principles of math if we want to balance our checkbook. Just like it’s up to us to learn and use the spiritual principles of creating correctly.

If you want to create a thriving and profitable business – start by doing the inner work and create that business inside you. Feeeel its success. Let go of the time factor and the outcomes for now, and work on the inner you.

Yes, this spiritual principle applies to you when you are creating your marketing, including your website, the pieces of your marketing funnel, even which clients you serve.

Kelly Robbins_ CreateSo pay attention to the space you are in when you are creating.

If you don’t have the results you want in life; the money, the relationships, the clients, it doesn’t mean you can’t have them. It doesn’t mean that you are not one of those ‘special people’ that always gets what they want so easily. It simply means you aren’t using the spiritual laws correctly. That’s all.

It’s now your job to figure out how you have misconstrued the laws and to start using them with intention.

Is the Universe Conspiring for you to See the Truth?

growthLaid off? Keep experiencing the same lack of money issues? Frustrated because things keep happening that feel out of your control? Dating the ‘same loser’ for the millionth time? Business declining – again?

It’s common to keep experiencing the same patterns over and over again and become frustrated because we can’t seem to stop the cycle. We may have even fallen into a victim mindset because we are so mad at ourselves that this happened yet again and we can’t see how to prevent it!

Rather than beating yourself up, what if you try taking a step away from the experience and all the emotion attached to it and look at why it might be happening in the first place?

Why does it seem like just when you are starting to get ahead, everything, large and small, starts conspiring against you?

If you are looking at these “bad” experiences as a lesson you are to learn or a skill to master, you might be able to see the opportunity available to you in a different light.

What if you ultimately believe the Universe is conspiring in your favor – not against you?

This underlying belief can and will make the difference between the success or failure of your business, your relationships, and your life.

You might be able to see an opportunity for yourself to grow rather than simply complain about your bad karma, or the economy, or your jerk of a boss, or match.com.

Even the terrible, hardest parts of our past; traumas from our childhood; excruciating divorces and heartbreaks; awful abuses and shames; happened for a reason.

What if these experiences happen for us to grow and, ultimately, develop a strength based on that experience rather than a simply a crappy struggle that we keep repeating because that’s what the universe has in store for us. It’s about taking that statement a step further and looking at events and experiences as happening in our favor rather than happenstance.

Owning these experiences, taking the time to understand the lesson we are to take away, and then using this new-found strength in our business to help others is the ultimate purpose for all of us.

I say all of us knowing you are here, reading this newsletter. There is a spirituality behind all of it.

All of this may sound good intellectually (or maybe not), but how do my struggles married to an alcoholic for 25 years or feeling neglected or not a priority as a child transition into running a business? How does it help me be a better copywriter or coach or healer?

This can range from knowing and living in your true power to learning to love yourself fully and without conditions.

While the answer looks different for everyone, the take away is to first understand the lesson you learned.

For me, and my past experiences it was about learning what it means to be in my power. That I am worthy just as I am. And while “going invisible” might have kept me safe in the past, being seen serves me now. To know that I am worthy just as I am.

Living your life on your terms is a movement.

You can live your life on your terms doing anything you want – you might just need to do things and change your perspective.

I Can Do ItAre you up for the challenge? Are you ready to step into creating the results you want and making an impact on this world?

You have to see the truth, especially the ugly truth about ourselves we often instinctively want to avoid, in order to create a change in your results.

Choose to be open and actively seek the truth. And realize even the bad stuff – the experiences we hate or the parts of ourselves we hide from others – were there for us to experience for a reason.

The Universe is conspiring in your favor. Always.

The 7 Phases Succesful Entrepreneurs Follow

Successful entrepreneurs recognize that business has its own speed and rhythm. Knowing which phase you are in your business growth, and when it’s appropriate to ebb and flow versus creating a focused change, is a practiced skill. Understanding the evolution of a business will help you be more resourceful when dealing with your own work flow and processes.

Read through these 7 phases and access yourself – what phase are you in today?

  1. Desire for change. Aware of unhappiness or uncomfortableness.
  2. Idea. Intuitive thoughts about what you want to do. Ideas percolate.
  3. Decision made on area of focus and what comes next. When starting a new business it may be the decision to become a copywriter, coach, massage therapist, etc.). Existing business this is the up-level decision and may include adding new services, expanding into new horizons, focus on change.
  4. Study “how” to move into this exciting new venture. Learn about processes. Read books. Take courses. Develop an intellectual understanding of what you will create. Understand key industry terms, may know industry leaders and success stories. Awareness of success stories and “I can do it belief” develops.
  5. Action. Start moving. Do what you can – might build business up to high five figures for new businesses. A time of adrenaline rush and high focus.
  6. Time to breathe and reflect. What worked and what didn’t? Take a break and reflect on what worked and what didn’t.
  7. Stuck feeling. Entrepreneurs will feel restless. Growth not as rapid. Frustration builds – confidence may sag.

Phase Chart

Where you are and how long have you been there is an important question to ask yourself. There are specific areas where many of us tend to stagnate simply because of fear, busy-ness or not knowing what steps to take to move forward on our path.

Signs to know it’s time to move forward with force rather than flow:

  1. You are getting bored
  2. You feel stuck
  3. Your income is stagnant or dropping (sometimes there is a dramatic change)
  4. Your self-talk says things like “I need more training in ___” or “I didn’t get the results I want because I’m not doing what she did”.

What to watch out for

It can be dangerous and fearful for people moving from step 4 to step 5 and people frequently stay in step 4 and never move forward. As a coach I see this as a dangerous place to stay too long. You are never going to be completely “ready” to start your business – you just have to start Cautionmoving and be OK making mistakes. If your legs feel like they weigh 500 pounds and you don’t know what to do first reach out for help — hire a coach.

The other place you have to watch is skipping step six. Step six a pivotal place to reach out for personal coaching and have someone point out to you exactly where you need to shift. Often at this point in your business there are a few minor shifts you can make that will have a huge impact on your revenues. It also may be the time for you to completely step up to that next phase of your growth and up-level to your next phase of business: a higher paying level of client, additional services, that book that’s been dying to get out of you….

Which takes you back to level one.

My point today is for you to take the time to honestly evaluate what part of the entrepreneurial path you are on and then to take the physical action steps (which might be picking up the phone, hiring a coach and not over thinking it) before your business starts to die. Because your business is either growing or dying – there is no in between. You can’t stand still.

Where are you and how fast do you want to move on?
